About Us

Hello and welcome to Little Green Frog!

My name is Vanessa and I am the owner of  Little Green Frog.

I have been on quite a journey with my business over the years and I feel now that I am able to focus on my website and giving my customers an enjoyable buying experience.

So, I just wanted to share a little bit about me.

I live with my husband Alistair in the town of Stapleford where my business was born. We also have a feral cat colony we run from our back garden, which currently has 13 cats, below are just a few of them for you to meet.

Everyone that knows me knows I have an obsessive love for anything sloth related, frogs (surprise surprise) and any animals in general really.

I loveeee cheese – another obsession of mine. So, watch out for all the new cheeses I get in stock as I love finding new flavours and stockists. Maybe we could have a cheese section on the main menu!!

I also love anything craft related, and I cannot wait to start crafting again now its just me and my website. The one thing I am really looking forward to is sitting in my new office and crafting new ideas. I have recently needed to take a step back in my life due to ill health and this is something that is going to really help me moving forward.

I have a vast career history but the main thing that runs through all of them is dealing with you, the public. I love meeting new people and I love talking and supporting my customers. I really feel that my website isn’t just a selling page but more of a community.

Watch this space for future ideas to build our already large community of Little Green Frog.

I shocked one of my friends the other day with my qualifications so I thought I would share them with all of you too! I have a Cheese Guild Qualification, Ballet & Tap Awards, but my main awards are with homemade jams and World Marmalade Awards.

As most of you will know I did own a Tea Room in Stapleford and I love anything to do with baking, jams, and marmalades.

We may even have videos on here too on baking ideas for you and the children.

So that’s a bit about me. We hope you love our new website; any questions please ask, and we hope you find a few nice bits to treat yourself with.
